It was opened as an Industrial Trade School in 1963. In 1982, it was converted into a government industrial high school and opened.
Now, with the support of JICA, the construction works have started, and the Japan-Myanmar Aung San Vocational Training Institute
(Japan-Myanmar Aung San Vocational Training Institute) has started teaching A.G.T.I diploma courses from the academic year (2019-2020).
- In Japan-Myanmar Aung San Vocational Training College, to establish a system that can continue learning based on the labor market needs of maintenance subjects and industrial technical electrical engineering.
